History

The Stoffel group of companies has a long tradition. In 1905, grandfather Ludwig Stoffel started his own flour business. Today, the company presents itself as investor, constructor, landlord and supervisor of own and foreign financial assets.

1905

Ludwig Stoffel senior becomes self employed with his own flour business.

 

1931

The flour seller becomes a wholesaler of colonial goods.

1970

The grandsons of the founder, Ludiwg Maximilian and Manfred, take over the company. Annual turnover: 5 million DM. The Lebensmittel Union GmbH&Co-IFA-VIVO Bezirkszentrale is formed.

 

1977

Annual turnover ca. 100 million DM. Goods supplied to more than 300 retailers and own supermarkets. Sale of entire company to the EDEKA trading company.

 

1978

Entry into the property business.

 

1985

Founding of STOBAU Bauträger (developer).

 

1996

Sale of family-owned company shares of Ski & Tennis Völkl International AG

 

1998

The Stoffel family builds the “Europäisches Haus” in Berlin, Pariser Platz / Unter den Linden, and moves STOFFEL Holding GmbH headquarters to Berlin.

 

2005

Stoffel company group celebrates its 100th anniversary

 

2005

Founding of STOFANEL Investment GmbH

 

2008

STOFANEL Investment GmbH becomes STOFANEL Investment AG

 

2010

Current annual building volume: ca. €120 million
